A new beach overlay district with mandatory design guidelines will directly govern what you can build, how it must look, and what uses are permitted on every parcel in the Hollywood Beach corridor — review now before the ordinance locks in constraints or opportunities.

The City of Hollywood is seeking a recommendation to City Commission to amend Article 4 of its Zoning and Land Development Regulations to establish the Hollywood Beach Overlay District and accompanying Hollywood Beach Design Guidelines, including revised definitions.
